Hinged shutters are predominately used for window areas that have sliding windows. Void and stair windows also suit this style of shutter. As the picture suggests our shutters can be designed to operate in a bi-folding effect. Kitchen windows that have a sink tap exposed higher than the opening of the shutter is a prime example of why you should elect to have this option. Shutters can be designed so that 2 equal sized panels can slide past each other for an optional way to walk in and out of Sliding door panels. Again homes which have 1 or 2 sliding glass panels that lead out to balconies and alfresco areas suit this design. Some Kitchen design benches lend themselves to a sliding style shutter. All shutters can be manufactured to include 3 different styles of frames and 63mm, 89mm, 0r 114mm convexed slat. All shutters are available with a hidden tilt bar. Optional handles can be fitted to all hinged panels.
